Hiring a company, rather than DIY and friend conscription, is a sign of brains, maturity and superior planning. (Which is why we moved ourselves last time.) Bon courage!
ReplyDeleteDid you use it as an opportunity to purge old and unused things? That's the silver lining in any relocation.
I'm even going to hire a painter! No more DIY for me... something always goes wrong, and you can't yell at your friends or get a discount off of them for chipping your favourite chair...
ReplyDeleteI always throw away a ton of stuff when I move, but every time I open a box I find stuff I have no idea what to do with. One box had a feather boa, a rolling pin, a butterfly mobile, and a rag in it. Where do these things come from?
